Bob Bakley, 90, of Boxholm, Iowa, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Bob Bakley, son of Bert and Esther Bakley, lived and farmed the family farm near Boxholm, Iowa his entire life moving only the last few years to Waterford Assisted Living in Ames, IA. He moved to Ames with his wife of 67 years, Ardis Tourte Bakley.

Bob is survived by his wife and 3 children. Vicki and her husband Jim Hasty of Breckenridge, CO, Dee and her husband Brian Kuneau of Lexington, KY and Bret and his wife Laura of Minneapolis, MN. Bob was grandfather to Christopher Erixon of Kansas City, KS, Dr. Carrie Bare of Colorado Springs, CO, and Nicole Middlecamp of Minneapolis, MN. Bob had three great grandchildren. Beau Bare, Willem Middlecamp, and Madelyn Middlecamp. He is also survived by his brother Bill Bakley of Ames, IA and Pat O'Mary of Sierra Madre, CA.

Bob was a veteran of WWII and a member of the Boxholm Methodist Church. He enjoyed flying, reading, traveling, drawing, and spending time with his family.
