Clovia Cunningham

Clovia Cunningham, 94, of Ogden, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2012, at the Boone County Hospital.

Clovia's wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Ogden. Rev. Gordon Lundberg will officiate. Visitation will be Friday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Carson - Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden.

Clovia Ida Erickson was born on March 21, 1918, in Ogden, Iowa, the daughter of Eric and Ida (Gustafson) Erickson. She graduated with the Ogden High School class of 1936. Clovia had lived in Ogden, Iowa, Canada, Hawaii, and Australia, as well as 15 other States. While in Ogden she was employed as a Nurse Aide at the Boone County Hospital.

Clovia was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Women's Club of Ogden.

Survivors include her son, Doug (Marilyn) MacPherson of Marion, Iowa; grandson, Chris (Andrea) MacPherson and their family, Jamee, Brandee, and Jimmie, granddaughter, Beth Miller and her children, Paige and Cameron, and granddaughter, Tara Pendry and her children, Max and Mario; one sister, Ione Lee of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; six brothers; five sisters; and two daughters, Helen and Karen.

Memorials may be left to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Ogden.
