Curt Stuhldryer

Curt A. Stuhldryer, 65, of Ogden, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at the Boone County Hospital.

Curt's wishes were to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m., on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at the Leonard Good Community Center in Ogden, Iowa. For online obituaries and condolences please visit: www.carsonstappfuneralhome.com

Curtis Alan Stuhldryer was born on August 20, 1952, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Harvey and Lilla (Asklund) Stuhldryer. He attended schools in Clinton and later enlisted in the United States Navy.

On March 26, 2007, Curt was united in marriage to Pat Hill in Sebring, Florida. The couple lived in Florida and Tennessee before moving to Ogden. Curt worked as an over the road truck driver until retiring.

Among the survivors are his wife, Pat Stuhldryer of Ogden, Iowa; son, David (Fleurette) Smith of Davenport, Iowa; daughter, Julie Smith of Conway, Arkansas; three grandchildren; one great granddaughter; three brothers, Denny (Diana) Stuhldryer of Perry, Iowa, Reggie (Connie) Stuhldryer of Boone, Iowa, and Arley (Linda) Stuhldryer of Ocean Shore, Washington; one sister, Sandra Watters of Milan, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
