Donald Richard Wright

Don R. Wright, 57, of Boone, Iowa, and formerly of Ogden, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 13, 2015, at the Boone County Hospital.

Donald Richard Wright was born on February 4, 1958, in Carbondale, Illinois, the son of Richard and Pattiann (Fulks) Wright. He was a graduate of the Ogden High School.

Don was united in marriage to Kimberly Lorenzen in Boone, Iowa, and the couple later divorced.

Don's hobbies included golfing, fishing, hiking and photography. He loved spending time with his dog, Keegan.

Survivors include his son, Eric (Jessica) Wright of Lowden, Iowa; granddaughter, Emily Wright; his sister, Diana (Herb) Skarbek of Spring, Texas; his significant other, Jill Onnen of Perry, Iowa; two nieces and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials will be used for a bench at Don Williams Golf Course in memory of Don.
