Donna Bollenbaugh

Donna Bollenbaugh, 87, of Ogden, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at the Community United Methodist Church Ogden. Rev. Evelyn Lewiston will officiate. Donna LaVonne Samuelson was born on October 31, 1929, the daughter of Roy and Mildred (Wolf) Samuelson. She graduated with the Ogden High School class of 1947. She attended DMACC in Boone where she received her Associates in Arts Degree.

Donna was united in marriage to Marion Bollenbaugh and to this union four children were born, Steven, Keith, Kathy and Jeffrey.

She worked for the Boone County Hospital for two years, she went on to work at Dr. Linder's office in Ogden as a receptionist for 26 years. Donna then worked at Wal-Mart Pharmacy as an associate for 10 years.

She was a member of the Community United Methodist Church, Red Hat Society, Daughter's of the American Revolution. Donna enjoyed playing cards, quilting, and attending many Ogden sporting events.

Survivors include her three children, Keith (Lili) Bollenbaugh of Chandler, AZ; Kathy Robinson of Maryland, and Jeffrey Bollenbaugh of Ogden, IA; four grandchildren, Libby, Charlie, David and Kristen; seven great-grandchildren, Spencer, Brady, Helena, Qyra, Amaya, Ashlynn and Cash; one brother Rodney (Edie) Samuelson of Johnston, IA; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Steven, two brothers, Lauren and Robert Samuelson, and one nephew Michael Samuelson.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
