Marian Russell

Marian Russell, 99, of Ogden, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at Accura of Ogden Nursing Home.

Marian Maxine Miller was born on May 12, 1918, in Charter Oak, Iowa, the daughter of Marion and Clara (Staley) Miller.

On September 14, 1942, Marian was united in marriage to Waldo "Jack" Russell. Their marriage was blessed with one son, Waldo "Russ" Russell.

Marian worked at the Woodward State Hospital where she enjoyed working with the residents.

Marian was of the Catholic faith and read her bible daily. She enjoyed fishing and camping and had a great sense of humor. Most of all she loved her cats and had many over the years.

She is survived by two granddaughters, Ronee Wagener and Cassie Russell both of Ankeny, Iowa; two great grandchildren, Brandal Wagener and Daylan Wagener.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jack, son, Russ, and one brother, Virgil Miller.
