Marjorie Mae Gilbrech

Marjorie M. Gilbrech, 92, of Ogden, Iowa, passed on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa.

Marjorie Mae Cummings was born on November 29, 1929, in Pine City, Minnesota, the daughter of Bert and Mable (Fuller) Cummings. She attended schools in Pine City. Marjorie has lived in Ogden for over 50 years.


Marjorie enjoyed sewing and reading and most of all being a mother.


Survivors include two daughters, Joyce (Terry) Potter of Coweta, OK; Tressa (Bret) Johnson of Urbandale, IA; one son, Edward (Bea) Gilbrech of Shafer, MN; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, George Cummings of Kennewick, WA; and many nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harry Gilbrech, three sons Gordon “Gordy” Gilbrech, Marlin Gilbrech, and Dennis Gilbrech, a brother, Ron Bucker, and her sister, Gloria Schneider.
