Mark Morrison

Mark Morrison, 30, of Ogden, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 23, 2012, at his home.

Mark's body has been cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 27, 2012, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Ogden. Pastor Gordon Lundberg will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Church. Carson - Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden is in charge of the arrangements.

Mark Anthony Morrison was born on December 29, 1981, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa, the son of John and Shirley (Klemme) Morrison. He attended Ogden schools graduating with the Ogden High School class of 2001.

Mark belonged to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Ogden. He enjoyed listening to music and volunteering his time with the Ogden Bulldog Athletic Programs especially High School Football. He was previously employed at Fellows Elementary School in Ames in food service.

Among the survivors are his parents, John and Shirley Morrison of Ogden, Iowa; one sister, Cindy Lou Wegman of Belmond, Iowa; three brothers, David John Morrison of Boone, Iowa, Terry Lee Morrison of Texas, and Jeffrey Lynn Morrison of Centerville, Iowa; his godfather, Gerald Klemme of Ogden; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, two nephews, and a cousin.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
