Patricia L. Armstrong

Patricia L. Armstrong, 79, of Dayton, Iowa, passed away Monday, March 30, 2009, at Grandview Health Care Center in Dayton.

Pat's body has been cremated. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date. Carson - Stapp Funeral Home in Dayton is in charge of the arrangements.

Patricia L. Kroll was born on November 16, 1929, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of William and Helen (Eberts) Kroll. She received her education in Des Moines, graduating with the North High School class of 1949. On August 7, 1954, Pat was united in marriage to Guy Eugene Armstrong. The couple later divorced. Pat worked as a dietary aide at the Woodward State Hospital School until retiring in 1991. She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include her children, Nancie Blackburn, Elaine Morgan, Peggy Armstrong, Michael Armstrong, Cheryl Burnette, and Paul Armstrong; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Bill Kroll and James Kroll. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, John Kroll.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
