Riann Behm

Riann Behm, 34, of Boone, Iowa, passed away Friday, August 31, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Riann's wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at the First Assembly of God in Jefferson. Visitation will be prior to services at the church, starting at 9:00 a.m. Carson - Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden assisted with the arrangements.

Riann Michelle Weatherbe was born on August 17, 1978, in Ames, Iowa. She graduated with the Jefferson High School class of 1997, and furthered her education at DMACC in Boone receiving an Associates Degree in Business.

On July 28, 2000, Riann was united in marriage to Matthew Todd Behm at the Christian Church in Jefferson. The couple established their home in Boone where Riann previously worked at Commercial Federal Bank. She was currently employed at State Farm Insurance in Boone.

Riann enjoyed traveling, walking and staying active, helping others, and most of all spending time with Matthew, Kylie and Katelyn. She always made time for her family and friends and will be sadly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Matthew Behm, of Boone, Iowa; two daughters, Kylie and Katelyn Behm at home; her mother, Kimberly Lentz of Woodward, Iowa, and father, Robert (Jan) Weatherbee of Woodward, Iowa; one sister, Dannielle Wright of Ogden, Iowa; three brothers, Joshua Dissinger of Arkansas, Jacob (Sarah) Lentz of Jefferson, Iowa, and Adam Lentz (Colleen Curless) of Peoria, Illinois; grandmother, Audrey Richardson of Boone, Iowa; father and mother-in-law, Rod and Judy Behm of Carroll, Iowa; sister-in-law, Heather (Jeramie) Hinote of Jefferson, Iowa, brothers-in-law, Mike (Ashley) Behm of Sheldon, Iowa, and Nick Behm of Carroll, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Weatherbee; grandfather, Conrad Richardson; and grandmother, Bertha Weatherbee.

A memorial fund will be established for her daughters.
