Rosalie was born September 15th, 1943 in Ogden, Iowa, to parents L.N. (Jack) and Ruth Lathrop Stumbo. She attended Ogden community schools and went on to study business at AIB College of Business in Des Moines.

Rosalie was baptized and an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

In May of 1964, she met her husband Jerry on a double date. They became engaged by the end of the year and were married July 16, 1966. After briefly living in Jefferson they moved back to Ogden.

Rosalie raised a son (Todd Wiedman) and a daughter (Pam Larsen) while working in the child care field and later as a CNA.

Rosalie had a celebrated life, and thoroughly enjoyed raising a family and being a Grandma! She visited her family in Georgia and Nebraska as often as possible, and enjoyed many family vacations. She collected Elvis Presley memorabilia, Coca-Cola memorabilia, and stuffed animals.

In 2009, Rosalie was diagnosed with kidney damage and diabetes. She was treated at home by her husband until having a kidney transplant in August of 2014. Although the kidney transplant went well, other complications kept her hospitalized and in degraded health. She put up a courageous battle but lost her fight the morning of February 18th.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wiedman; her son Todd Wiedman and his wife Stacy Wiedman; daughter Pam Larsen and her husband Keven Larsen; her granddaughters Stephanie Wiedman, Kelly Rodebush, and Julie Rodebush; her grandson Tate Larsen; brothers Dean, Jerry, and Doug; sister Susan Anderson; brother-in-law Gary; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Rosalie in death were her parents, sister-in-laws Elna Mae Stumbo and Lois Stumbo, and several aunts and uncles.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and medical staff at Mercy Medical Center, Select Specialty, Mary Greeley Hospital, McFarland Clinic, Divatia Kidney Center, Boone County Hospital, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Pastor Chris Cowan, and all our family and friends for the generous prayers and support for Rosalie and the family.
