Vivian Paul

Vivian A. Paul, 91, formerly of Lehigh, Iowa, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018, at Grandview Health Care Center in Dayton.

A private family funeral service will be held at Carson - Stapp Funeral Home in Dayton. Pastor Craig Vote will officiate. Burial will be at West Lawn Cemetery in Lehigh. Vivian Artist Paul was born on November 24, 1926, in Lake Crystal, Minnesota, the daughter of George and Carrie (Henry) Goings. She attended Webster City Schools and later worked as a nurse's aide at Colonial Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.

On August 17, 1946, Vivian was united in marriage to Thomas H. Paul Sr. in Dayton, Iowa. The couple established their home in Lehigh where they lived for many years. Thomas passed away on January 8, 2002. Later that same year Vivian moved to Harcourt, where she remained until moving to Grandview Health Care Center in Dayton in April of 2008.

Vivian enjoyed keeping house and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son, Thomas H. (Patsy) Paul II Lehigh, Iowa; two daughters, Vivian Swanson of Lehigh, Iowa, and Sharon Paul of Dayton, Iowa; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas H. Paul Sr., one son, Joseph H. Paul, three brothers, and six sisters.
