William "Bill" Erickson

William "Bill" Erickson, 79, of Pilot Mound, Iowa, died Friday, December 26, 2014, at his home.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 10, 2015, at Carson – Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden. Rev. Gary Hoyt will officiate. Burial will be in the Pilot Mound Cemetery. William Roger Erickson was born on December 4, 1935, in Pilot Mound, Iowa, the son of Edward and Bessie (Fischer) Erickson. He graduated with the Pilot Mound High School class of 1957. Bill worked at the Boone County Hospital from 1967 until 1987. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include two sisters, Shirley Swisher of Spirit Lake, Iowa, and Ardith Williams of Lake Elsinore, California; one brother, Keith (Lois) Erickson of Lakeland, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Donald Erickson and Dwain "Tooner" Erickson, three nephews, Larry Erickson, Kenny Erickson, and Rick Blass, one sister-in-law, Bernice Erickson, and three brother-in-laws, Raymond Morgan, Harold Swisher, and Doyle Williams.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
