Allen Eugene Longhenry

Allen E. Longhenry, 65, of Ogden, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 28, 2022.

Funeral services for Allen will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, May 2, 2022 at Zion Lutheran Church in Ogden, Iowa. Pastor Lyle Hansen will officiate. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Ogden. Visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M. on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Carson-Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden.

Allen Eugene Longhenry, son of Kenneth and Lillie (Lee) Longhenry was born on July 16, 1956 in Webster City, Iowa. He was a graduate of the Madrid High School class of 1974. Following high school, Al attended DMACC in Ankeny where he earned his certified welders certificate. Over the years, Al worked as a certified welder, carpenter, and in maintenance. He was currently employed as a truck driver for MBK Transport in Ames, Iowa.

Survivors include his mother, Lillie Longhenry of Ogden, IA; three siblings, Brian (Gail) Longhenry of Madrid, IA, Cindi (Kevin) Sprecher of Ogden, IA, and Wade Longhenry also of Ogden; and his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Allen was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Longhenry; his sister, Cheryl Longhenry; and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association in memory of Allen.
