Brenda L. Bills, 63, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at her home in Williams while under the care of Care Initiatives Hospice of Waterloo.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Carson ~ Stapp Funeral Home in Dayton. Visitation will be Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Carson ~ Stapp Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the services. Brenda Lynn Clapper was born on January 26, 1959, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Naomi Bradbury. She attended Central Webster High School class of 1980, and furthered her education at Hamilton Business College, earning her A.A. degree in accounting.
Brenda worked for the Department of Corrections for 26 years. She enjoyed garage sales and auctions, dogs and cats, gardening, sewing, and antiques.
Brenda was preceded in death by her brother, Lee Clapper in 1985.
Among the survivors are her children, Lachelle (Randy) Nelson of Webster City, IA, Alissa Bills of Williams, IA, Travis Bills of Williams, IA, and Larry “Joseph” (Whitney) Wheatley of Winterset, IA; grandchildren, Bradly Bills, Jaden Bills, MaKayla Devilbiss, Tagen Moss, Noah Nelson, Payton Wheatley, and Isabella Wheatley; her mother, Naomi Bradbury of Winterset, IA; and two sisters, Becky Morris of Osceola, IA, and Deb (Kevin) Pratt of Oxford, IA.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
