Christopher G. Downey

Christopher G. Downey, born April 25, 1951, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2024, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, Iowa. He was 73 years old. Christopher, formerly of Linden, Iowa, is survived by his three children: Adria Kester (Nate) of Ogden, Iowa; Andrew Downey (Cris) of Ogden, Iowa; and Allison Frazier (Mike) of Ogden, Iowa. 

Christopher will be cremated, and a private family service will be held in his honor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Israel Family Hospice House in gratitude for the compassionate care they provided during Christopher’s final days.

Christopher’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all who have offered their support and condolences during this difficult time.
