Dawn Sue Laube

Dawn “Sue” Laube, 69, of Boone, Iowa, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

A celebration of life service for Sue will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Community United Methodist Church with Rev. Heidi Farmer officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service at the church beginning at 9:00 a.m. Carson-Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden has been entrusted with arrangements.

Dawn Sue Coe, daughter of Larry and Freda (Mayse) Coe was born on August 10, 1956, in Boone, Iowa. Sue graduated from Grand Community High School with the class of 1974.

On August 27, 1974, Sue was united marriage to Randy Laube in Boone, Iowa. To this union two children were born: Amy and Eugene. Sue was dedicated in taking care of her family.

Sue was passionate about all animals especially, her cows and her cat, Newt. She enjoyed the outdoors, and loved mushroom hunting.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Randy Laube; daughter, Amy Laube; son, Eugene (Amy K.) Laube all of Boone; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Laube, Nicholas Laube, Alec Laube, and Kyle Laube; two brothers, Steven Coe and John (Kara) Wallace; and her niece, Sabrina Wallace; and several extended family members and many friends.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
