Kenneth "Jack" Trask

Kenneth "Jack" Trask, 88, of Lehigh, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2016, at the United Methodist Church in Lehigh. Pastor Alaire Willits will officiate. Burial will be at West Lawn Cemetery in Lehigh. Kenneth Dale Trask was born on March 2, 1928, in Lehigh, Iowa, the son of Lee and Hazel (Pratt) Trask.

On October 18, 1947, Jack was united in marriage to Irene Lee in Webster City. To this union three children were born: June, Carl, and Joann.

Jack farmed in the Lehigh area for many years, retired and then worked with Lee Gripp on his farm for many years.

Jack belonged to the United Methodist Church in Lehigh. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, coffee with friends, and car rides with his co-pilot and best pal Angel.

Survivors include three children, June (Ruth) Trask of Bloomington, Minnesota, Carl (Helen) Trask of Savannah, Georgia, and Joann (Elvin) Klein of Dayton, Iowa; four grandchildren: Shari Goldhill and her children: Madison, Cole, and Zoey; Jeremy (Kelli) Trask and their children: Kendell and Braden; Suzanne (Robert) Stender; Matthew (Jolene) Klein and their children: Tyler, Jacob, Kaylene, Allen, Kaleb, and Karter; two sisters, Genevieve Hoover and Myra (Kenny) Magneson; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Irene Trask on May 4, 2011, and grandson, Daniel Klein.
