Linda Kay Tolle

Linda K. Tolle, 66, of Ogden, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa.

A memorial service for Linda will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Church of Christ in Jefferson, Iowa, with visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. Butch Glawe will officiate. Carson-Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden has been entrusted with arrangements.

Linda Kay Reighard, daughter of John and Esther (Hahn) Reighard was born on July 19, 1959, in Winfield, Iowa. She received her education at the Des Moines Area Community College, where she graduated in 1995.

Linda worked for several years as a Registered Nurse at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, until her departure to work as an RN at Boone County Memorial Hospital in Boone, where she worked until her retirement in 2024. Even after retirement, Linda could not give up her love of nursing and continued to work part time at the Perry Lutheran Homes.

On September 4, 1999, Linda was united in marriage to Brian Tolle at Iowa Arboretum & Gardens in Madrid, Iowa. Where Linda gained three bonus children; Jenifer, Nathan, and Heather, but always claimed them as her own children. The couple made their home in Ogden.

Linda was a member of the Church of Christ in Jefferson. She loved her church family and her faith. Linda also loved her furbabies - Chester and Buster.

Linda had a calling for helping others. If she was not working as a nurse, she was always helping someone. She was the one you could call when you needed help or just to talk.

In addition to her parents, Linda was also preceded in death by her husband, Brian Tolle and her brother, Robert Reighard.

Survivors include her three children, Jenifer (Keith) Hill of Council Bluffs, IA; Nathan (Ashley) Tolle of Omaha, NE; and Heather (Brandon) Williams of Council Bluffs, IA; seven grandchildren, Terrance, Abigail, Jon, Melissa, Amerah, Storm, and Jesse; two great grandchildren, Macklin and Oakley; her sister, Nancy Reighard of Fairfield, IA; her brother, Chuck (Susan) Reighard of New London, IA; her sister-in-law, Bonnie Reighard of Keosauqua, IA; and several nieces and nephews.
