Mary Podlesak

Mary K. Podlesak, 88, of Lehigh, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2013, at the Grandview Health Care Center in Dayton, Iowa.

Mary's wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 18, 2013, at the Christian Church in Lehigh. Pastor Richard Laird will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lehigh. For online obituaries & condolences visit: www.carsonstappfuneralhome.com

Mary Katherine Good was born on April 4, 1925, in Lehigh, Iowa, the daughter of William and Alice (Reed) Good. She was a graduate of the Lehigh High School

On January 30, 1945, Mary was united in marriage to Charles Podlesak and the couple established their home in Lehigh. Mary worked as a nurse's aide at nursing homes in both Hamilton and Webster County.

Mary was a member of the Christian Church in Lehigh.

Among the survivors are her daughter, Char (Dennis) Hill of Lehigh, Iowa; one grandson, Dave (Mary) Hainzinger of Dayton, Iowa; two great grandchildren, Luke and Kearsten Hainzinger; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles Podlesak; three sisters, Ruth Carpenter, Bess Gehrt, Lillian Schultz; and one brother, Joseph Good.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
