Mary Rouse-Avey, 51, died suddenly on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at her home in Lehigh.

Private family burial will be at Green Castle Cemetery in Green Castle, Missouri. Carson – Stapp Funeral Home in Dayton is assisting with local arrangements. Mary Ione Rouse was born on October 3, 1964, in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Orville and Myrtle Rouse.

Mary was united in marriage to Rick Avey in Webster City, Iowa. Mary was a proud to be a grandmother of ten.

Mary is survived by her husband, Rick Avey of Lehigh, Iowa; three children, Lesslie (Megan) Rouse, Sassha (Jerry Hart) Sherrow, and Brandon Minear; ten grandchildren; three brothers; two sisters; and many other friends and relatives

Her parents preceded her in death.
