Norma Jean Herridge

Norma J. Herridge, 89, of Ogden, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Accura Healthcare of Ogden.

A funeral service for Norma will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, May 11, 2026, at Carson-Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden with Rev. Heidi Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Ogden. A visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:30 A.M. on Monday.

Norma Jean Herridge, daughter of Zola Herridge was born on March 22, 1937, on the Herridge family farm in rural Ogden, Iowa. She received her education in Beaver, Iowa thru grade school and then attended Ogden High School where she graduated with the class of 1955. Norma enjoyed many years of volunteering at the Ogden Manor (Accura Healthcare) and at Ogden Rural Main Street.

Norma loved to crochet and knit in which many people were blessed to receive these gifts from her. She knitted many pot holders that were distributed with food pantry items through Community United Methodist Church. Norma was so proud to knit scarfs for the active military that were serving overseas.

Norma was preceded in death by her mother, Zola Herridge. Survivors include a host of lifelong friends.
