Parker Louis Stoneburner, 25, of Boone, Iowa, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.
September 1st, 1999; Parker was born into a loving family that continued to grow with extended stepfamilies, cousins, and even friends that turned into family. As a child Parker enjoyed time with his family, slumber parties with his cousins, fishing with his siblings and stepdad, and vacations with his younger brothers. He was often teased for being a Momma’s Boy, even Michaelle’s smile shows she can’t deny it.
Through school Parker was always an avid athlete. Wrestling, baseball, and football were his favorite and through the years his teammates became some of his best friends.
After Graduating in 2018, Parker continued to enjoy life. Spreading his contagious goofy smile, showing kindness to everyone he met, and supporting his niece and nephews as they started their sports in school. He quickly fell in love with a four-legged friend he named Dexter and eventually took a job at Harvest Heating and Cooling. He wanted to pursue a career expanding his knowledge in HVAC. Parker recently moved into his own house that he was working on remodeling with his mom and dad; ok. He mostly supervised while they worked.
As Parker adjusted to adult life, he frequently enjoyed Wednesday night family dinners, even though he had to sit at the kids table- he never passed up not only the chance for a home cooked meal but to also sneak home some leftovers. He turned the ‘kids table’ to the ‘kool kids table’. Parker loved making time to break out the snowboard with his brothers, niece, and nephew but his favorite hobby had become fishing. His true passion lay in his love for vehicles- which he shared with his father and brothers. Attending car shows, watching car auction sites, talking motors, and always proudly posting his collection of vehicles.
Most importantly in all his far too short years, Parker was well known for being a good friend to everyone he met; never losing the kind soul he’s always had. He was always there for the ones he loved, even if it was through a simple snapchat.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Russell Stoneburner and Mark “Andy” Anderson, his brother, Blayne Stoneburner, and cousins, Brian and Jarrett Stoneburner.
He is survived by his parents Cleo and Michaelle Stoneburner and stepparents, Jayme Kay and Bryant Kirton. His many siblings; Brandon (Tia) Stoneburner, Kylie (Andrew) Pierce, Samantha (Isidro) Garcia, Justin (Paige) Kirton, Tyler Gustoff, Storm Jaeger, and Cale Stoneburner. Grandparents, Bev Anderson and Shirley Riley. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, his godchild, and countless friends.
