Rob Stapp Owner/Funeral Director

Rob was raised in Webster City, Iowa, and graduated with the Webster City High School class of 1989.  He attended Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge and he went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Mortuary Science from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1993.  Prior to joining Carson Funeral Homes in 1997, Rob worked as a Funeral Director at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home in Fort Dodge and Christy-Smith & Hockenberry Funeral Home in Sioux City.  Rob is a member and Past Pesident of the the Dayton Lion's Club and serves on the Dayton Community Grocery Store Board, and the Grandview Apartment Board.  The Stapp's belong to the United Methodist Church in Dayton.  Rob's wife Michelle is a Registered Nurse in Occupational Health at Story County Medical Center in Nevada.  She serves on the Dayton City Council.  Rob and Michelle have two sons, Logan and Cael. The Stapp family resides in Dayton.

Pat is a native of Ogden and graduated with the Ogden High School class of 1992. In his younger years Pat worked with his father, Dave Carson, who owned and operated the funeral homes until passing away in 1994. Pat continues to be active in the family business, assisting with the arrangement, visitation and funeral process. Pat is a member of the Glenwood Cemetery Board. Pat's wife Kerry is employed as Accounting Supervisor at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in Des Moines. Pat and Kerry are members of Community United Methodist Church in Ogden. They are active supporters of the Ogden community and school district and are members of the Ogden Booster Club. Pat and Kerry have two sons, Cooper and Colson. The Carson family makes their home in Ogden.

Gary Paulsen Associate

Gary is a native of northwest Iowa, born in Rock Rapids, attended and graduated from Hills High School, Hills, Minnesota. He went on to recieve his BA degree from Westmar College in LeMars, Iowa, and a MA degree from the University of South Dakota in School Administration. Other graduate work was done at Drake University and Iowa State University. Over the years he has officiated high school and college baseball, football, basketball, and track around the state of Iowa and other midwest states. Gary and wife, Carlotte are the parents of three adult children, Kelly (Bruce) Fishbach, Kevin (Jenni) Paulsen, Kendal (Kim) Paulsen, and seven grandchildren. Gary has been associated with Carson - Stapp Funeral Homes since 2004.
